Little Buddha

The tub with water where Siddhartha's father cleans his hands from the ashes of the corpse as if to clean the mistakes and the shame while he reflects on his past actions as Siddhartha urges him (he re-analyses). The tub becomes a place for a moment of confrontation with his own conscious/unconscious actions/intentions and their consequences.

Harry Potter

The "Pensieve" in 4th film, where one can see the wakes of thoughts develop in the water, with which a person can reflect on recollections and on past events (the "Pensieve" is a tub, the water represents the access to the unconscious). The Pensieve therefore becomes a place for a moment of confrontation with one's own conscious/unconscious actions/intentions and their consequences.

All views and opinions expressed here are, of course, my own and do not represent any other person or organisation.

This work is conceived with the highest integrity and with greatest respect towards the authors and their respective body of work and is to be intended as a review of both films for the greater good and for the benefit of the public, for nonprofit educational purposes such as research, criticism, comment. I express here my own unique point of view with absolute devotion for the Buddha and the people of Nepal now so in need of help, aiming to promote regard, compassion and generosity in my readers.
