While Siddhartha unveils Mara, the visual effect morphs Siddhartha's face into Mara's (all this, the first time happens in the water flowing from a jar)

Reminds the Polyjuice Potion, which is prepared in a container for liquids and makes a person look like another (eg. In the 4th film)

Note: Photos are showing the neutralization of Polyjuice Potion, but the visual mechanism of Polyjuice Potion is still well represented
